Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 August 2026
These Terms explain how Dnamiq works, what Free and Plus include, and important limits of our estimates. Please read them carefully before creating an account or purchasing Plus.
1. Who operates Dnamiq
Dnamiq is offered under the trade name Dnamiq. The full legal entity will be stated once company details are configured.
Contact details for support and complaints are listed on the Contact page.
2. Scope of the service
Dnamiq is a consumer web application that helps households understand electricity-price opportunities, compare fixed vs dynamic pricing using models and assumptions, and plan flexible electricity use.
Dnamiq is not an energy supplier, does not sell electricity, and does not execute energy trades or switch your contract.
3. Accounts
You may create an account with email (including magic link) or Google sign-in where enabled. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for information you enter.
4. Free and Plus access
Free access includes general recommendations and public tools as described on the Pricing page.
Dnamiq Plus unlocks personalised planning features such as My Plan, Smart Alerts, Timing Value history, and Dynamic Fit as described in the product.
5. Subscription billing
Paid Plus plans are processed by Stripe. Prices shown to consumers include VAT where indicated in our pricing configuration.
6. Monthly and yearly plans
Monthly and yearly Plus plans are subscriptions. The billing period and total price including VAT are shown before you go to Stripe Checkout.
7. One-off / Lifetime Plus access
Where offered, “Lifetime Plus” or “one-off Plus access” means a one-time payment for Plus access for as long as Dnamiq operates the relevant Plus service, subject to these Terms and reasonable product changes. It is not a guarantee that the service will exist forever.
One-off access does not renew automatically and has no recurring billing.
8. Renewal
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, unless stated otherwise at checkout or in the Stripe Customer Portal.
9. Cancellation
You can manage and cancel subscriptions via Manage subscription in Settings (Stripe Customer Portal) when billing is enabled. After cancellation, Plus access normally continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Cancellation of a subscription is separate from any statutory withdrawal right that may apply.
10. Withdrawal rights
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory cooling-off / withdrawal right for distance contracts under applicable law. Whether and how that right applies can depend on when the digital service starts and other legal conditions.
Dnamiq does not claim that purchasing Plus automatically waives statutory withdrawal rights. See the Withdrawal information page.
11. Availability and service changes
We aim to keep Dnamiq available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may improve, change, or discontinue features with reasonable care.
12. User-provided information
Recommendations and comparisons depend on tariff settings, device settings, and other information you provide.
13. Electricity-price and tariff estimates
Dnamiq provides estimates based on available electricity-market data, tariff assumptions, and information you provide. Actual costs and savings may differ. See Methodology.
14. Dynamic Fit
Dynamic Fit is a modeled comparison, not realized historical savings. Actual results depend on your supplier, contract terms, timing, and actual electricity use.
15. Timing Value
Timing Value is an estimate of the potential value of shifting electricity use. It is not a guarantee of realized savings.
16. No guaranteed savings
Dnamiq does not guarantee savings, lower bills, or better outcomes than your current contract or behaviour.
17. No energy-supplier relationship
Dnamiq does not provide an energy contract, does not bill you for electricity, and is not your energy supplier.
18. No financial or investment advice
Information in Dnamiq is informational decision-support. It is not personalised financial, investment, or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to switch energy contracts.
19. Intellectual property
Dnamiq’s software, branding, and content are protected. You may use the service for personal household purposes under these Terms.
20. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Dnamiq, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
21. Liability limitations
To the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law, Dnamiq is not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make based on estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
22. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including major outages of hosting, payment, or market-data providers.
23. Termination
We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these Terms. You may stop using Dnamiq at any time. Account deletion requests can be made via the Contact page.
24. Complaints and contact
For questions or complaints, use the Contact page and the configured support email.
25. Applicable law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply to you where you live in the EU/EEA.
26. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. The version date is shown on this page. Material changes affecting paid users will be communicated with reasonable notice where appropriate.
