This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Dnamiq processes, why we process it, and what rights you have. It applies when you use the Dnamiq website and app.

1. Who is responsible

Dnamiq is offered under the trade name Dnamiq. The full legal entity will be stated once company details are configured. Contact: (support email not yet configured).

2. Categories of data we process

Depending on how you use Dnamiq, we may process:

Account and authentication data: email address; account identifiers; optional Google authentication information where you choose Google sign-in.

Tariff and household settings you enter: contract type; fixed electricity rate or other tariff parameters; device and appliance settings.

Alert preferences and content needed to send requested alerts by email.

Billing-related identifiers when you purchase Plus: subscription identifiers and Stripe customer/subscription references (payment card details are handled by Stripe).

Support and contact messages you send us.

Technical and security data: logs, IP address and similar security signals needed to run and protect the service.

Analytics or referral information only if such tools are actually enabled in the product configuration.

Data linked to your account is not claimed to be anonymous.

3. Purposes of processing

We process personal data to operate your account and authenticate you; to provide recommendations, Dynamic Fit calculations, Timing Value estimates, and related product features; to process billing for Plus where enabled; to send alerts you requested; to secure the service and prevent abuse; to improve the product where analytics are enabled; and to meet legal obligations.

5. Processors and subprocessors

Depending on configuration, we may use the following service providers (only those actually enabled):

Render — Application hosting and infrastructure (EU / US (provider-dependent))

Stripe — Payment processing and subscription billing (EU / US (Stripe))

Google — Optional Google sign-in authentication (EU / US (Google))

Resend — Transactional email delivery (auth and alerts) (EU / US (Resend))

PostgreSQL hosting provider — Persistent storage of account and preference data (As configured for DATABASE_URL)

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, we aim to use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law (such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision), as offered by those providers.

7. Retention

We keep account and preference data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards as needed for backups, disputes, billing records, and legal requirements.

Support messages and security logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.

Exact retention periods will be finalised during professional legal review and operational policy.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
