Dynamic vs fixed electricity: which is better?
Neither is universally better. Fixed contracts buy price certainty. Dynamic contracts give you cheap hours and expensive spikes, in exchange for flexibility value.
If you can shift tens of kWh per week (especially an electric car), dynamic often pays for the attention. If not, fixed may be calmer.
Decision checklist
List flexible loads, estimate kWh you can move, and check whether you will actually look at prices or use alerts. Behaviour matters as much as the tariff.
